Daring and innovative theatre
The Blue Barn seeks to sustain its tradition of boundary-breaking theatre by continuing to obtain scripts for contemporary, artistically renowned works of theatre, casting talented actors, and employing professional designers and technicians. As production costs rise, we rely on the support of our loyal donors to help us achieve this vision.
Becoming a place where professional and community actors ignite
In the past few years, the Blue Barn has cast professional actors (members of the Actor's Equity Association) in key roles that bring welcome attention to the theatre and allow an exciting exchange between professional and community actors. In the future, The Blue Barn will continue to bring professional actors to Omaha to act and work alongside community artists. We believe that the ongoing fusion of professional and community artists fuels artistic growth that extends throughout Omaha and surrounding communities.
Raising awareness of the great work we do
Awareness of the high quality of theatre we produce only continues to grow. The Blue Barn carefully considers opportunities to increase exposure. We seek support from the community as we tell our story and share our vision.

Ways of giving to The Blue Barn
Individual Gifts
Some of The Blue Barn’s most generous and loyal donors are private individuals who love theartre, just like you. We hear it over and over again: “It’s amazing what you can do with your modest budget.” Every gift counts and every donor matters, because your gift is put to immediate and meaningful use during the current season.
Individuals who give at the $1,000+ level may sponsor aspects of Blue Barn productions (cast stipends, scenic construction, orchestra fees, director sponsorship, etc.) and receive reserved seating among other benefits.

Advertising in the Blue Barn’s Playbill
The Blue Barn’s playbill is seen by more than 1,000 people during the run of every production. Advertisers who choose to partner with the Blue Barn for an entire season can reach more than 4,000 consumers annually.
Blue Barn patrons tend to be high-income, highly educated individuals who are discerning in their consumer choices.
When you advertise in The Blue Barn playbill, you not only support an important force in Omaha’s cultural landscape, but you reach consumers who will give your business serious consideration.
Ad rates range from $75 to $300 per ad. Discounts may be available for multiple ads.
